Become the Manager at Stepz Fitness Dapto!

Stepz is seeking a motivated, experienced, and driven Gym Manager to lead our team at our Dapto, NSW location. As the Gym Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club, leading and developing staff, delivering an exceptional member experience, and driving membership growth and business performance. This position offersthe opportunity to make a real impact within a collaborative, supportive environment and be part of a leading fitness brand.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will inspire and mentor your team, ensure the smooth daily operation of the club, oversee staffperformance, support membership sales and retention, manage administrative responsibilities, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation throughout the facility. You'll play a key role in fostering a positive club culture, building strong relationships with members, and ensuring every member enjoys an outstanding fitness experience.

What you'll be doing

- Oversee the day to day running of the facility
- Ensure gym is clean, safe and well presented
- Lead group fitness classes such as HIIT and strength training to motivate and inspire our members
- Foster a positive, professional workplace culture.
- Drive member retention and satisfaction.
- Handle membership enquiries professionally.




- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with members to understand their needs and preferences
- Maintain a professional and safe training environment, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and used correctly
- Assist with the promotion of the gym and its services to attract new members

What we’re looking for

- A Certificate III is a minimum requirement for this role. Certificate IV in Fitness or equivalent is not essential but desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in personal training and/or group fitness instruction in a gym setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively motivate and engage with members
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A passion for health and fitness, and a desire to help others achieve their wellness goals
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
