A national organisation in the electrical supply sector is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a high-potential site and drive commercial performance.
Position Overview
The Branch Manager will oversee daily operations, lead a small team, and ensure strong customer service outcomes. A key focus of the role will be driving sales within the Data & Technology sector by building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, branch teams and other stakeholders. The position requires a commercially minded leader with experience in sales, operations, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer relationships — Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Key focus on driving sales within Data & Communications sectors
- Team leadership — Provide coaching, direction and communication to build engagement and support performance.
- Operational oversight — Manage branch activities to meet or exceed sales, margin, profit and service targets.
- Safety management — Uphold and promote a strong safety culture across all branch operations.
Skills & Experience Required
- Electrical wholesale, trades or related industry experience
- Experience within the Data & Communications sectors highly desirable
- Leadership capability with proven experience in sales or operational environments.
- Commercial focus and confidence in negotiation and influencing.
- Operational knowledge including supply chain and branch workflow understanding.
- People-focused approach with the ability to build a positive and inclusive team environment.
