Join the team at Citywide Home Loans' as a Loan Writer / Mortgage Broker Assistant. In this full-time position based in Sydney Olympic Park, NSW, you will be responsible for assisting customers throughout the mortgage application process. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a leading financial services provider.

What you'll be doing

Conducting detailed interviews with customers to understand their financial situation and mortgage needs

Preparing and processing loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is submitted

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as credit assessors and conveyancers, to progress loan applications

Providing exceptional customer service and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Maintaining accurate records and complying with all relevant regulations and policies

Identifying cross-sell opportunities and referring customers to other Citywide Home Loans' products and services

Contributing to the continuous improvement of loan processing procedures and documentation

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar loan writer or mortgage processing role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in loan writer or mortgage processing roles

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide excellent customer service





Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and timely loan processing

Proficient in the use of mortgage application software and other relevant digital tools

A keen interest in the mortgage and property market, with a good understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements

Commitment to professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with changes in the mortgage industry
