Most Cloud Engineers reach a point where they're ready for broader exposure.
You've built solid Azure experience, you're comfortable solving complex technical problems and supporting production environments, but you're looking for an opportunity that offers greater variety and the chance to keep developing.
Medline is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join its APAC Infrastructure team in Marsden Park, supporting a modern Azure platform while helping shape the ongoing evolution of Medline's regional cloud environment.
You'll join a cloud environment supporting the APAC region, where no two weeks are likely to look exactly the same. One day you may be resolving a complex production issue, the next deploying infrastructure through Terraform, supporting a regional cloud project or working with colleagues across Australia, Japan, India and the United States to deliver a global initiative.
About Medline
Medline is a healthcare company - a manufacturer, distributor and so much more, doing business in more than 125 countries and territories around the world. They provide the quality medical products and solutions their customers need to deliver their best care to every person in every care setting.
Medline is committed to reducing their carbon footprint, developing responsible products, supporting their employees and local communities, and promoting high ethical standards internally and among their supplier partners.
Technology plays a critical role in supporting that global operation. Within APAC, the technology function is continuing to evolve from separate country-based IT teams into a more connected regional operating model.
For Cloud Engineers, this creates the opportunity to gain enterprise experience,
work across regional initiatives and contribute to technology that supports a genuinely global business.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Infrastructure Manager – APAC, you'll help support, maintain and continually improve Medline's Azure cloud environment across the region.
The role provides a genuine balance between Level 3 operational support and project delivery, allowing you to remain hands-on while continuing to broaden your technical capability.
You'll contribute across:
- Microsoft Azure cloud operations and administration
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Level 3 incident and problem management
- Monitoring, optimisation and security remediation
- Disaster recovery and operational resilience
- Regional cloud projects and global technology initiatives
We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership and is comfortable building relationships across teams to deliver practical outcomes.
Why This Role Is Different
This isn't a role where you're expected to arrive as a finished senior cloud specialist.
It's designed for someone with robust Azure or infrastructure foundations who is ready to step into a larger enterprise environment and continue growing their career.
You’ll strengthen your Azure and Terraform capability while gaining exposure to regional cloud operations, global technology delivery and enterprise cloud practices.
About You
You’ll likely bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar Cloud Engineer role
- Experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments
- Exposure to Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- Experience supporting infrastructure within a production environment
- A collaborative approach and confidence working across technical teams
Why Join Medline
You’ll join a global organisation that continues to invest in technology while remaining part of a collaborative regional team where your contribution is visible and valued.
You’ll benefit from:
- Exposure to enterprise-scale Azure environments supporting critical healthcare operations
- A balanced mix of operational engineering, infrastructure improvement and project delivery
- Mentorship from experienced regional technology leaders across APAC
- Collaboration with colleagues across Australia, Japan, India and the United States
- Hybrid working model with Tuesday and Thursday as core collaboration days, plus one additional office day each week
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional after-hours meetings with global teams
- A strong learning culture with dedicated in-house training, study assistance and ongoing career development opportunities
- One day of birthday leave and one day of volunteer leave each year
- Option to purchase additional annual leave
- Discounted private health insurance through Bupa
- Complimentary access to Sonder, providing 24/7 medical, mental health and personal safety support
- Novated leasing options
- Free EV charging for employees
- Discounted gym memberships
Next Steps
If this opportunity aligns with what you're looking for, we'd welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
