About the Role
As a Dental Assistant / Receptionist, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments in accordance with infection control standards.
- Providing outstanding patient care before, during, and after treatment.
- Maintaining a clean, protected, and organised clinical environment.
- Greeting patients and creating a welcoming first impression.
- Managing appointments, phone enquiries, and patient records.
- Processing payments and assisting with general administrative duties.
- Supporting the clinical and reception teams to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
About You
The successful applicant will ideally possess the following:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Dental Receptionist is preferred, however training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- High standards of patient care and customer service.
- A strong understanding of infection control protocols.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Well-presented with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Experience using Care Stack Management Software is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
