We are entering an exciting growth phase and are looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded leader to help improve the way our business operates and support our next stage of growth.
This is a newly created role that will work closely with the Partners and play an important role in helping the firm become more efficient, scalable and client-focused.
The firm has been growing consistently at an average of 35% per year for the past 4 years. We would like this to continue and require a proactive and organised Practice Manager to be part of the journey.
About the Role
This role sits between traditional practice management and business operations.
You'll be responsible for helping ensure the firm runs smoothly day-to-day while supporting the implementation of systems, processes and initiatives that improve team performance and client outcomes.
For the right person, this role offers a genuine opportunity to grow into a broader leadership position as the firm continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Operations
- Support the day-to-day running of the firm
- Coordinate workflow and help ensure deadlines are met
- Assist with capacity planning and resource allocation
- Identify operational bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
Team Support
- Assist with onboarding new team members
- Help maintain a positive and accountable team culture
- Support internal communication and coordination
- Assist Partners with people-related initiatives
Process & Systems
- Improve internal processes and workflows
- Help maintain and optimise practice management systems
- Assist with implementation of recent tools and technologies
- Support documentation and standard operating procedures
Client Experience
- Assist in delivering a high-quality client experience
- Help improve onboarding and communication processes
- Monitor service standards and turnaround times
Business Support
- Assist with KPI reporting and business performance tracking
- Help drive operational projects and improvement initiatives
- Work closely with the Partners on strategic priorities
About You
You will need to have had significant experience working in a private practice accounting firm in the following areas:
- Practice Manager
- Office Manager
- Client Services Manager
You Will Ideally Have
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Experience with practice management software
- Process improvement experience
