This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional who enjoys working closely with field-based teams, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving positive HSEQ outcomes. Working as part of our HSEQ team, you will provide practical advice, conduct audits and inspections, support investigations, and assist in maintaining our integrated management systems.

Based along the East Coast and close to one of our depot locations in Mount Kuring-Gai (NSW), Campbellfield (VIC), or Yatala (QLD), this role will involve regular travel to operational sites.

The Role

The HSEQ Advisor is responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing improvement ofMirait'sHealth, Safety, Workplace and Quality systems across the business.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Conduct site, plant and vehicle inspections and audits

Travel to project and depot locations to provide operational support and guidance

Support compliance with WHS, environmental and quality management systems

Investigate incidents, hazards and near misses, including corrective action follow-up

Assist with the delivery of inductions, training and awareness programs

Monitor and maintain HSEQ records and documentation

Support injury management and return to work processes

Assist with subcontractor compliance and induction activities

Participate in compliance meetings and consultation processes

Provide HSEQ reporting and performance data to management

Support continuous improvement initiatives across HSEQ systems and processes

You

To secure an interview for this great opportunity, it is desirable to meet the following:





Previous experience in a HSEQ Advisor, HSEQ Coordinator or similar role

Able to travel to various locations across Australia

Qualification in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline

Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management principles

Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations

Ability to build effective relationships with employees, subcontractors and customers

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and sound administrative capability

Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Current Driver's Licence

Experience within telecommunications, infrastructure, construction or utilities is highly regarded

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
