About the role

Inspiring Minds Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced Educator - Diploma Qualified to join our team in Burpengary, QLD. This is a part-time position offering flexibility whilst maintaining the high-quality care and educational experiences our families expect. As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering developmentally appropriate programming and fostering positive relationships with children and families. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating a nurturing environment where children thrive and reach their developmental milestones.

What you'll be doing

- Planning and implementing engaging educational activities that promote children's learning and development across all developmental domains
- Building meaningful relationships with children and families, supporting transitions and celebrating individual achievements
- Supervising and maintaining the safety and wellbeing of children in your care at all times
- Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Communicating regularly with families about their child's progress, interests and developmental milestones
- Supporting children's social and emotional development through positive guidance and role modelling
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of children's learning, development and attendance
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhering to all regulatory requirements, policies and procedures set by Perfect Beginnings Childcare

What we're looking for

- Current Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent recognised qualification
- Current Working with Children Check (WWC) clearance or eligibility to obtain one
- Current First Aid and CPR certification relevant to children




- Demonstrated experience working with children in an early childhood or care setting
- Strong understanding of child development and ability to implement play-based learning approaches
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, culturally responsive environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a supportive workplace culture
- Flexibility and adaptability to support evolving childcare needs
- Knowledge of Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) standards and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is advantageous
