Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Qualified Stonemason to join our skilled and dedicated team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role requiring a high level of craftsmanship and technical skill. You will be responsible for cutting, shaping, installing, and repairing natural and manufactured stone across a variety of construction and renovation projects, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Study and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation methods
- Cut, shape, polish, and fit hard and soft stone using hand tools and machinery
- Mix and apply mortar and adhesives to set stone accurately
- Construct stone walls, blockwork, pillars, arches, feature walls, and retaining structures




- Check vertical and horizontal alignment to ensure precision and structural integrity
- Repair, restore, and maintain existing stone and masonry structures
- Work independently or collaboratively within small teams, including providing in office guidance where appropriate
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant worksite at all times
- Accurately record daily progress and job details using company software systems

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

- Trade qualification in Stonemasonry (Certificate III or IV or equivalent) or significant relevant industry experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on stonemasonry experience in construction, renovation, or restoration environments
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern stonemasonry techniques
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
