As a key member of our Centre’s Leadership Team, the Assistant Centre Manager assists the Centre Manager with the people and process revenue, and all other operational elements of a recreation and/or aquatic centre covered by the ‘City of Sydney Contract’.

The Role

Therolesfocus onhelping todelivercentre-wideresults,while alsobeing responsible forleading and managing thecentre in the absence of theCentre Manager.This requires the position holder tolead byexample andhold a range of skills and capabilities across all centre functions includingcustomer experience, 360 products, learn to swim programs, health and safety compliance,and pooloperations.

Crucial role toprovide centreleadership andassistwith drivingleisure centreattendance and program participation, in a context of health, safety and compliance.With key accountabilities for Sales, Patron Experience, Risk Mitigation and Compliance

- Prior experienceinindustry sectors such asHealth, Fitness, Aquatics, Hospitality, Tourism, Retail orBusiness.
- Proventeam leaderorpeople management and have an overall ability to lead, motivating a team anddeveloping others.
- If you have excellent customer service skills, sales, and the ability to achieve targets and key performance indicators.

Our leader demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, resilience, and ability to accept feedback. You will need to also have an understanding of WHS and risk including the Guidelines for Secure Pool Operations and NSW Health regulations.
