European Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic

North Star Motors is looking for an experienced and motivated European Automotive Technician to join our established workshop in Enoggera.

We specialise in the service, diagnostics and repair of European vehicles, including Land Rover, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Volvo and other prestige marques.

The position

This is a permanent full-time role suited to a qualified technician who takes pride in accurate diagnosis, quality workmanship and providing customers with a high standard of service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Servicing, maintaining and repairing European vehicles

- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults

- Using modern diagnostic equipment and technical information systems

- Completing vehicle inspections and clearly documenting recommended repairs

- Performing timing belt, cooling system, suspension, brake and transmission work





- Conducting authorised road tests and final quality-control checks

- Accurately completing job cards, inspection reports and parts requests

- Working safely and keeping your work area clean and organised

- Assisting apprentices and less experienced technicians when required

What we are looking for

- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent qualification

- Current Australian driver licence

- Robust diagnostic and fault-finding ability

- Experience working on European vehicles

- Good communication and time-management skills

- Attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team

- Australian working rights

Experience with Land Rover, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen or Porsche will be highly regarded.
