About the role

We're looking for a motivated and friendly casual Cafe All Rounder & Barista to join our team at Where It's At Coffee Co - Flinders University Bedford Park. In this casual role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality coffee and food products to our customers. Whether you're on the coffee machine, behind the counter or assisting with food preparation, your role will be crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring our customers have a memorable experience.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and serving specialty coffee drinks, teas and other beverages to customers

- Providing effective and friendly customer service at the counter and around the cafe

- Assisting with food preparation tasks such as sandwich making, and heat to eat foods

- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including, restocking supplies and operating the cash register

- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all customers

What we're looking for

- Previous proven track record experience as a Barista

- Minimum 1-2 years of barista experience required

- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and the ability to consistently produce high-quality espresso-based drinks

- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner





- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to follow structure, processes and procedures

- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

- Availability to work casually across Monday to Friday when required, including 6:30am to 4:30pm full shifts

Rates of Pay

Adult and Junior pay rates are in accordance to the Fast Food Industry Award 2010, Level 1
