About the job

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Business Technology, you will maintain & continually enhance the Service Cloud platform and Community Cloud portal, making it as easy as possible for users of any technical level to use Salesforce. You will be required to stay current on the platform’s new tools, capabilities, and updates including Agentforce & Data Cloud.

The role would collaborate with stakeholders to carve out Salesforce current state and Salesforce future state with evolving business needs. This will require deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and know-how of integration design patterns to help expand Salesforce’s growing usage in the business. There is also the need for architecture level understanding of data warehouse, data lake concepts and a mindset of integrating necessary business data within Salesforce for business consumption & decision making.

As part of the Business Technology team, you will be expected to work with other team members to collaboratively deliver on Salesforce ecosystem to the Rhombus Enterprises business (as a whole).

Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us; therefore, the Salesforce Developer should be able to participate in the full end to end user experience including helping manage support tickets, knowledge uplift of users and designing strategic solutions with user satisfaction a priority.

Key responsibilities

- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to):



APEX Customizations, LWC, Flows, objects and fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, reports, CRMA, Tableau, Data Cloud, Agentforce etc.
- Maintain, expand and improve data lake/data warehousing integrations with Salesforce and regularly evolve the data strategy for Rhombus stakeholders
- Constantly review the technology ecosystem in Rhombus and look at ways of integrating or replacing systems within Salesforce
- Create integration services to consume/build APIs, manage software builds, and conduct integration tests
- Have experience of working on transformation of data from different system formats such as XML, JSON, CSV etc.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solution architectures, and deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions within project timelines
- Work in a Hybrid setting with multi-disciplined technology and business teams across Infrastructure, Data, Security/Hosting and Salesforce resources
- Support production deployments, perform post-deployment validations, and provide ongoing maintenance and support for Salesforce applications
- Support the integration of XPlan data into the Salesforce instance to facilitate continued governance reporting over the network
- Insights and analytic reporting for the platform and driving business insights into the services provided to the Rhombus business and adviser network
- Assist with managing users and support tickets, including managing any changes to platform related to these requests
- Working as part of the team, delivery of key strategic initiatives focused on simplification of the Salesforce platform, and extension of use of Salesforce platform capabilities

This position is a 12-month maximum term contract.

What you will bring

- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder and above - essential
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or industry certifications highly desirable
- Previous experience within the Financial Services industry desirable
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Development,



encompassing various Salesforce technologies such as Force.com, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud and developing integrations with third party applications
- Working Knowledge of Agentforce is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability in understanding, maintaining & authoring APEX artefacts (Triggers, scheduled jobs, custom classes), using Lightning Web Components, Integration, Data Modelling, and Salesforce development tools (App Builder, Flow Builder, Salesforce DX, APIs)
- Expertise in Data Warehousing, Data Lake solution design and architecture, and working knowledge of at least one key Data Platform (AWS/SQL Server with SSIS/Google Cloud/Snowflake)
- Good knowledge of Service Cloud, CRM Analytics, Tableau, Data Cloud
- Working Knowledge of ingesting disparate data sources into Data 360 (Formerly known as Data Cloud)
- Experience working with Source control tools (E.g. Salesforce Change Set, Bitbucket, GitHub etc.)
- Highly proficient in Salesforce data management & configuration tools like Workbench, DataLoader.IO
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
- Strong data management skills, database development and administration
- Ability to work independently and in a team workplace
- Self-driven individual who is constantly looking at new ways to manage and maintain data and driving to improved business outcomes (e.g. Utilising peers, forums, groups, etc.)
- Advanced experience with the use of reporting and data visualization tools (e.g. Excel, SQL Server, SSIS, ETL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Understanding of Data Warehousing to be able to bring together data from multiple locations and then managing and protecting the data
- Comparable experience in other Salesforce Clouds like FSC (Financial Services Cloud), Sales Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Field Service Lightning
