Helping Hands Support Services Ipswich is looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our friendly, client-focused team. In this role, you'll empower older Australians and people living with disabilities to maintain independence and dignity in their daily lives.

What You'll Do

As a valued Support Worker, you'll provide hands-on care and genuine companionship that helps clients thrive. Your day-to-day may include:

- Supporting clients with personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Assisting with transport to appointments, shopping, and community events
- Offering emotional support and meaningful connection
- Working alongside allied health professionals to meet client needs
- Ensuring accurate, timely documentation
- Following all safety and care protocols

What We're Looking For

We're after someone who's caring, committed, and ready to make a difference. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

- At least 6 months' experience in a similar support or care role




- A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability Support, or equivalent
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Empathy, patience, and a client-first mindset
- A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- An open driver's licence is required for this position
- Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Legal authorisation to work in Australia
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check must be held prior to commencement
