The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Finance Business Partner is a key leadership role responsible for providing strategic financial advice, business partnering and technical accounting expertise across the organisation.

You'll lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, statutory reporting, audit coordination and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with leaders to support informed commercial decision-making. You'll also mentor and develop members of the finance team, helping to strengthen EMQ's financial capability as the organisation continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will:

- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across the organisation.
- Deliver insightful management reporting and financial analysis to support business decisions.




- Coordinate statutory reporting, audit activities and compliance obligations.
- Partner with operational leaders to provide strategic financial advice.
- Develop financial models, business cases and performance reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, governance and reporting.
- Mentor and support the finance team, fostering capability and high performance.

About You

You're a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and using financial insights to drive business performance.

You'll bring:

- CA or CPA qualification with a degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.
- At least 7 years' experience in financial accounting, management accounting or business partnering.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and statutory reporting.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, taxation and audit processes.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and leadership.
