Role Purpose

As a General Practitioner at TAMS-AC, you will deliver high-quality, culturally safe primary health care that improves the health and wellbeing of our community. You will work collaboratively within a passionate and supportive multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centred, holistic care.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive GP services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients
- Deliver culturally safe,



trauma-informed care and contribute to a welcoming, respectful service environment
- Develop and maintain appropriate care plans for patients with chronic and complex conditions
- Work collaboratively with nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, allied health and wellbeing teams to support integrated care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and correspondence
- Participate in continuous quality improvement, clinical governance and relevant meetings as required
- Support health promotion and preventative care initiatives aligned with community needs
- Comply with TAMS-AC policies, procedures, infection prevention standards and skilled obligations
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner (General Practice)
- Eligibility to obtain a Medicare provider number
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering culturally safe and respectful care
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a primary care setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a patient-centred approach
- Ability to meet clinical documentation and professional standards
- Experience working in an ACCHO, Aboriginal health, rural/regional health, or multidisciplinary settings
- Interest in chronic disease management, preventative health, or community health programs

- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
