Trainee / Experienced Geotechnician (Soils)
We are currently seeking a dependable and enthusiastic trainee soil technician or a 1-3 years experienced technician for a full time position based in Blacktown.
The Role
The work in this position consists of testing and assessing soils both in a laboratory and on construction sites in accordance with relevant standards. You will be trained to make analytical assessments of soils, prepare reports, perform hands-on testing and liaise with clients.
Applicant
This position would suit an applicant who is physically fit and is looking for a mixture of indoor and outdoor work. Any previous experience in the industry will be highly regarded, but is not essential. On the job training will be provided. School leavers are encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following:
A current driver licence or be willing to obtain/currently in the process of obtaining one
The ability to communicate well with others
Able to work without supervision
Basic computer skills
