Operating across three South East Queensland locations, we continue to invest in our people, infrastructure, and operations to support our ongoing growth. Due to continued expansion, we're looking for an experienced Export Coordinator to join our team at our Port of Brisbane Head Office.

About the Role

This is not an entry-level position. We're seeking someone with previous experience in export operations, freight forwarding, shipping, transport, or logistics administration who can confidently step into the role and make an immediate contribution.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating export bookings, managing documentation, scheduling container movements, and ensuring all shipments meet customer requirements and wharf cut-off times.

Position Details

- Location: Port of Brisbane QLD
- Hours: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: 8:00am
- Work Type: Full time, on-site

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily export bookings and shipping schedules.
- Prepare, review, and process export documentation accurately.




- Ensure containers meet all wharf cut-off times and customer deadlines.
- Coordinate container deliveries and collections with customers and transport providers.
- Liaise with shipping lines, customers, drivers, warehouse staff, and operational teams.
- Manage slot bookings and scheduling requirements.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate records within company systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Previous experience as an Export Coordinator or within export, freight forwarding, shipping, transport, or logistics.
- A solid understanding of export documentation and shipping processes.
- Experience coordinating container movements and working with wharf cut-off times.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.
