An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Data Product Manager to join a major Queensland Government program delivering a modern enterprise data and analytics platform.
This is a high-profile, multi-year transformation initiative focused on creating a centralised, trusted data environment that will enable better decision-making through high-quality data, analytics and business intelligence. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will play a key role in shaping the vision, strategy and delivery of enterprise data products that provide real value to stakeholders across the organisation.
As the Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, roadmap and ongoing evolution of a portfolio of enterprise data products. You will work closely with senior business stakeholders and multidisciplinary delivery teams to ensure products are aligned to business priorities, deliver measurable outcomes and support long-term organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate the vision, strategy and roadmap for enterprise data products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business stakeholders to understand priorities and identify opportunities for value delivery.
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring work is aligned to business outcomes and strategic objectives.
- Lead and support agile delivery teams, working closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and technical specialists.
- Drive the delivery of trusted, reusable and user-focused data products.
- Balance competing priorities including new capability, platform enhancements, technical debt and operational support.
- Ensure data governance, quality,
privacy and security requirements are embedded throughout product delivery.
- Monitor product performance, adoption and perks realisation, driving continuous improvement

Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience managing digital, data or analytics products.
- Strong experience developing product strategies, roadmaps and managing product backlogs.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within Agile and Scrum environments.
- A solid understanding of enterprise data platforms, analytics and business intelligence.
- Knowledge of data governance, information management and data quality principles.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- A strategic mindset combined with a practical, outcomes-focused approach to delivery.
- Experience working within large enterprise or government environments will be highly regarded.
