Job Description

Mataam Al Mandi Liverpool Pty Ltd is seeking to employ 2 x Cooks to complement our kitchen team in Liverpool NSW. These full-time positions carry a salary of $80,000 to $82,000 plus superannuation. This job requires you to hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent work experience, and the ability to work independently in a busy kitchen environment.

Some experience is highly desirable.

Main Responsibilities

- ? Oversee food preparation, dish presentations, and create various food formats.
- ? Cook mains, entrée, and side items, and prepare signature dishes and diet specific food for patrons.
- ? Select and plan recipes and create current combinations based on customer patterns.
- ? Estimate food consumption and requisitions for lunches, dinners and functions.
- ? Receive and examine supplies and stock, and inventory control for quality control purposes.
- ? Supervise and train new kitchen staff in cooking, plating and presentation.
- ? Oversee sanitation, food and hygiene regulations compliance by the kitchen staff.
- ? Recommend changes to the menu and daily specials to the management.
