About the role

We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers in Canberra, ACT with the potential of also working in the surrounding areas of NSW. Components of the supports include, willing to drive for in-home support, assistance with self-care, meal preparation with light domestic assistance, social engagement, and community access and participation.

our support staff requireMandatory Experience and Compliance:

- 12 months minimum experience as a Support Worker
- Relevant tertiary qualification (minimum Certificate III) in Disability or a related industry.
- Understand the true meaning of a Person-Centred Care approach.
- NDIS WC Clearance (5 Years Validity).
- Working with Vulnerable People Card (5 Years Validity).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Medication Administration Certificate (12 Months Validity) - we can provide the training course.
- Manual Handling Certificate (12 Months Validity) - we can provide the training course.
- Drivers Licence & Comprehensively Insured Car.
- Adaptable availability & commitment to an ongoing roster of support.
