Reporting directly to the Managing Director, take full functional leadership across inventory, logistics and buying/procurement, with inventory strategy and demand planning as the unifying lens. Develop and deliver tailored supply chain solutions that bring real value to major upstream oil and gas operators as the company evolve from product supply into an integrated supply chain partner.
The Role
As the Supply Chain Manager, your mission is to up-skill and further develop your team to build capability, drive cross-functional alignment and provide data-driven, value-led solutions to assist the sales team to scale-up product and service offerings that resolve customer problems—backed by commercial insight and operational credibility. You will work closely with the commercial team to enable them to further strengthen relationships with senior supply chain stakeholders, provide internal analysis, and revise processes that are operationally sound and that demonstrate both customer value and business potential.
What You Bring
10+ years of experience in the successful management of high-turnover inventory,
ideally across high-efficiency, industrial, or customer-product distribution environments.
Strong commercial acumen and a track record of building teams and improving inventory performance
A background in utilising ERP systems, inventory planning tools and Vendor Management Inventory models and a keen interest in using new technology, including AI to target data and streamline processes.
Excellent communication skills—confident presenting complex ideas simply and persuasively.
A proactive, cooperative style and the resilience to work through ambiguity to outcomes.
A degree in supply chain, logistics, or a business-related discipline is preferred. Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or Lean Six Sigma certification would be advantageous but not essential.
