Rare and exciting opportunity at ACFS has risen for a Procurement Manager to join us at ACFS.
Reporting to our General Manager – Strategy and Developments, your role will be:
Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of procurement within the organisation. This includes the sourcing, purchasing, and management of goods and services necessary to support the company’s operations. The role requires strong negotiation skills, vendor management, cost control, and strategic sourcing practices. The Procurement Manager will play a key role in ensuring that the company maintains high-quality standards while optimizing cost efficiencies and meeting delivery timelines.

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s business goals. This includes the identification of cost-saving opportunities and improving procurement processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery schedules, and cost targets.
Lead the sourcing process for key materials and services, ensuring the timely and cost-effective purchase of goods. Manage RFQs (Request for Quotation), RFPs (Request for Proposals), and vendor evaluations.
Work closely with the supply chain and inventory management teams to ensure a balanced inventory, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
Monitor procurement budgets and costs. Work to identify cost-saving measures and improve procurement efficiency.
Ensure that procurement activities are in compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations. Identify and mitigate risks associated with suppliers and procurement processes.
Analyse procurement data to assess supplier performance, cost trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement activities and performance.
Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to ethical sourcing guidelines, sustainability practices, and environmental responsibility
What we require from you, Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of procurement regulations, contracts, and supplier management.
- Leadership experience and ability to mentor teams.
