Spotlight Opportunity: Deception Bay SIL

We are thrilled to announce a brand-new Supported Independent Living (SIL) home opening in Deception Bay! We are on the hunt for amazing people to bring this home to life.

If you crave stability and consistency, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We have long, regular shifts available. This means you can enjoy a reliable roster while taking the time to build deep, meaningful connections with our fantastic participants.

Where Else Do We Need You

Not near Deception Bay? No problem! We have various positions available across a massive footprint in South East Queensland. We are currently hiring for roles stretching from:

- Glass House Mountains down to Coomera
- The Redlands across to Ipswich
- ...and everywhere in between!

Your Workspace: We value your time. Your specific work location will be tailored to your home base, how far you are willing to travel, and the specific needs of our wonderful participants.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, but your core focus will always be on empowering our participants. Your duties will include:





- Promoting independence and delivering person-centred care.
- Assisting with daily personal care routines.
- Supporting participants with shopping, meal prep, and community access.
- Accompanying clients to medical and other essential appointments.
- Providing support overnight.

What We’re Looking For

If you are energetic, inclusive, and open-minded, you'll fit right in! We value people who are great communicators and natural problem solvers.

The Essentials:

- Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Disability/Individual Support (or a strong willingness to obtain one).
- Clearances: Valid Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, current CPR/First Aid, and a Police Check.
- NDIS Training: Completion of the NDIS Training Modules.
- Transport: A current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Experience: Experience in the disability sector is highly preferred.
- Skills: Confident working both independently and within a collaborative team, with strong time management and organisational skills.
