Itch Recruitment

Western Australia

If you're the kind of person who can walk into organised chaos, figure out what needs doing, and just quietly get it done, this will suit you perfectly.

The Gig

One day you’re pulling together a polished board pack, the next you’re supporting high level stakeholder meetings, and after that you might be helping bring an event for 300 people to life.

You’ll join a small, switched‑on team who keep a busy mining business ticking, working closely with leaders, engineers and international stakeholders.

You’ll report to an experienced EA who is someone we'd love to work with. She is kind, thoughtful, a good laugh and amazing at her job!

What you’ll be doing

- Managing diaries, inboxes and general executive admin as needed.
- Preparing board packs and high‑quality documents using Microsoft Office.
- Coordinating events and functions for up to 300 attendees.
- Comfortably juggling general "can you just…?" requests

You will need to be reactive at times, as the "can you just" requests will be coming through regularly, but be rest assured, you'll go home every day knowing you have achieved something!

Who this will suit

You’re the kind of Administrator who doesn’t need their hand held and quietly gets things done.

Someone who can build strong relationships across the business, earn trust easily, and bring others on the journey. The ideal person is direct but approachable, diplomatic, and highly organised, with a knack for creating alignment, managing competing priorities, and helping people focus on what matters most.

You’ll need:

- At least three years experience as an administrator.
- Confident Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Solid people skills – you influence rather than push, and you stay composed.
- Clear, adaptable communication, especially with people for whom English is a second language.
- Accountability and follow‑through – you guide the team, not wait for direction.

Hours, salary and flexibility

The role can be 0.8 FTE or full‑time, with flexibility around your start time and days, as long as you’re there through to 5pm.

Think options like shorter days across five days, or four slightly longer days – as long as you’re consistently available in the afternoon.

Salary is $80–95k plus the benefit of gaining corporate mining experience in a supportive EA team where autonomy is valued.
