What you'll be doing
As an Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality reception, secretarial and administrative support to ensure the effective operation of Day Surgery and Surgical Short Stay services. You'll be a key point of contact for patients,



carers and clinicians, helping to coordinate appointments, manage enquiries and support patient flow.

Key responsibilities include:

Deliver professional reception and customer service, including patient arrivals, departures and appointment management

Manage administrative processes including data entry, document preparation, scanning, filing, Medicare-related documentation and correspondence

Respond to telephone enquiries and liaise effectively with patients, carers, clinicians and other departments

Coordinate clinic bookings, interpreter services and patient information using hospital systems including iPM

Support quality improvement, patient-centred care initiatives and safe workplace practices while contributing to a positive team culture
