An award-winning Apartment Builder Developer is looking for a Chief Financial Officer with a background in Construction to join their close-knit team.
Based in Homebush, this company has an excellent reputation for acquiring large site and building top quality high rise residential developments.

Due to this growth, they are keen to appoint a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations.
The role
This hands-on role will require someone that is a hardworking individual who can thrive in a small team with a positive attitude to work against deadlines. You will be managing a finance team of 5.
Responsibilities
- Monthly & Annual financial reporting
- Cashflow forecasting
- Consolidated management accounts
- Project reporting
- Annual Income Tax return preparation for the group companies
- Key user for financial & project management system
- Management of the Accounts team
- Asset Purchase
- Liaise with financiers to obtain asset finance
- Reporting on financial liabilities
- Preparation & lodgement of BAS, FBT, other reporting to ATO
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting
- At least 5 years’ experience in a CFO capacity within a builder developer
- Previous experience within a construction company essential
- Familiar with Procore and Cheops
- Ability to engage effectively with internal / external stakeholders
- Exposure of managing Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and payroll teams
- Ability to embrace working in a close-knit team and a passion for the Construction industry
- Be a confident operator to make Financial improvements for the business
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of self-motivation
- Work with a fantastic close-knit Finance team
