The Cleaner is a vital role within VanHomes, responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workplace across the manufacturing and office facility. This role ensures hygiene standards are met, supports operational efficiency, and contributes to a positive workplace for staff and visitors. By performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to safety protocols, the Cleaner upholds VanHomes’ reputation as Australia’s leading relocatable home manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitise work areas, including offices, production floors, and common areas
- Empty bins and dispose off waste according to facility guidelines
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a dust-free environment
- Clean machinery and equipment surfaces as directed




- Restock cleaning supplies and report low stock levels
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols to prevent hazards
- Report maintenance issues or damage to facility management
- Execute ad-hoc cleaning tasks as needed to support facility operations

Selection Criteria

- 1+ years’ experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and chemical handling
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Certificate in Cleaning Operations or equivalent

Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
