U-Tech Medical is one of Australia's leading independent biomedical service companies, providing installation, maintenance, validation and repair services for medical, dental and veterinary equipment across Australia. With over 30 years of industry experience, we are expanding our team and are looking for motivated technicians who enjoy problem-solving, working independently and delivering outstanding customer service.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing benchtop autoclaves and waher disinfectors, and other equipment used in medical, dental and veterinary practices.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs

- Installation and commissioning of new equipment

- Fault finding and diagnosis of electrical and mechanical systems

- Providing exceptional customer service on-site

- Completing service reports electronically

- Working closely with our technical support team

Who We're Looking For

Experience servicing autoclaves is highly desirable, but not essential.

We encourage applications from technicians with experience servicing:

- Washing machines

- Dishwashers

- Dryers





- Commercial laundry equipment

- Commercial kitchen equipment

- Fridgeration equipment

- Packaging machinery

- Laboratory equipment

- Other electrical or electromechanical equipment

If you're mechanically minded, have strong electrical fault-finding skills and enjoy working with customers, we'll provide the specialist training required.

Full Factory Training Provided

Successful applicants will receive comprehensive factory training on leading brands of sterilisation equipment, along with ongoing technical support and professional development.

What You'll Need

- Previous field service experience

- Good electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

- A current driver's licence

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

A restricted electrical licence, disconnect/reconnect licence or relevant trade qualification will be highly regarded but is not essential.
