Join Trisco Foods as our Production Scheduler and help keep production running efficiently through accurate scheduling, material coordination and strong ERP control.
About Trisco Foods
Trisco Foods is an Australian food manufacturing business operating in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
We are looking for an experienced Production Scheduler to join our Supply Chain team at our Carole Park manufacturing site. This is a hands‑on operational role for someone who enjoys being close to the action, solving problems and working across departments to ensure production is ready to run each day.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end production scheduling process and work closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Procurement and Sales.
This is a fully onsite role working Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Your early presence is essential to ensure batch sheets, production work orders, material availability and other production requirements are ready before manufacturing commences.
About the role
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate, achievable production schedules that balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, material availability and operational requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning the end-to-end production scheduling process across all manufacturing lines.
- Developing and maintaining weekly and daily production schedules.
- Reviewing finished‑goods requirements, make‑to‑order customer orders, capacity constraints,
material availability and defrost requirements.
- Creating, entering, maintaining and reconciling production work orders and batch sheets in Pronto.
- Preparing and distributing daily run sheets, batch sheets and production schedules within agreed timelines.
- Confirming raw‑material and packaging availability before releasing production schedules.
- Maintaining production handover and material‑control processes to prevent production commencing without the required materials.
- Leading and participating in daily and weekly production reviews.
- Responding quickly to production changes, material shortages, inventory discrepancies and capacity constraints.
- Processing stock adjustments for finished goods, work in progress and raw materials.
- Coordinating stock transfers between warehouse locations to support production requirements.
- Supporting inventory reconciliation between physical stock and ERP records.
- Ensuring schedules, production orders and inventory movements are accurately reflected in Pronto and shared planning files.
- Own and run the MRP process, reviewing system‑generated requirements and taking appropriate action to support production schedules, material availability and customer service.
- Identifying opportunities to improve production scheduling, inventory accuracy and operational processes.
About you
You will be organised,
practical and comfortable working in a time‑critical manufacturing environment. You will understand that an effective production schedule must be achievable on the factory floor, not simply accurate in a spreadsheet.
To be successful, you will have:
- At least five years’ experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning or an operational supply chain role.
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong ERP experience across production orders, inventory movements and production scheduling.
- Experience coordinating materials, packaging and production capacity.
- Robust attention to detail and a high level of system accuracy.
- The ability to manage changing priorities and resolve operational issues quickly.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working across multiple departments.
- The ability to identify and escalate material, capacity, timing and inventory risks.
- A collaborative, accountable and solutions‑focused approach.
- Availability to work onsite in Carole Park from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Experience using Pronto ERP will be highly regarded.
Why join Trisco Foods?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical operational function and have a direct impact on production performance, customer service and inventory accuracy.
You will join a supportive Supply Chain team and work closely with stakeholders across the entire manufacturing operation. The role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing improvements in our systems, processes and ways of working.
