About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Service & Minor Works Estimator to join our HVAC&R; team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate service and maintenance quotations, assessing customer requirements, and supporting the delivery of profitable HVAC&R; minor projects and service work.

This role requires robust technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with clients, technicians, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for HVAC&R; service, maintenance, repairs, and small projects.
- Review customer requests, site reports, and technical documentation.
- Conduct site visits when required to assess project scope and requirements.
- Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Analyse labour, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and tender submissions.
- Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and provide technical advice.
- Work closely with Service Managers and Technicians to ensure accurate pricing and project handover.
- Maintain estimating records and job costing information.




- Ability to carry out tender requests from clients and management, for service works.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and business growth.

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in estimating within the HVAC&R; industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial HVAC&R; systems.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

- Trade qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical Services, or related field preferred.
- Current driver's licence.
