Our highly respected and busy inner city dermatology clinic is looking for a nurse to join our growing team.

We are seeking to fill a permanent part time position with an empathetic, patient and motivated registered nurse (RN), or endorsed enrolled nurse (EEN) to join our doctor owned and operated dermatology practice by September.

Our practice offers a comprehensive range of dermatology services focused on the early detection of skin cancer, various skin conditions, and laser technology treatments. We pride ourselves on our medical and surgical expertise.

As our successful candidate you will be available to work Tuesday, Thursday and every second Friday and be flexible to work at our two practice locations when required. There may be opportunity for more hours for the candidate with the right skill set. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dermatologists, contributing to a professional and welcoming environment.

Full training and team support will be provided on site as you work alongside our dedicated nurses and doctors.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Surgical assisting with minor procedures




- Removal of sutures and wound care
- Administering local anaesthetic
- Candidates with basic training in local anaesthetic administration will be suitable as comprehensive training will be provided
- Assisting with dermatology treatments such as allergy patch testing, photodynamic and UVB therapy
- Pre-op and post-op educations
- Cleaning and sterilizing instruments

Key requirements:

- Candidates must hold current unrestricted APHRA registration as either a registered nurse (RN) or endorsed enrolled nurse (EEN)
- Electronic Health Record familiarity and Xestro experience are particularly desirable
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Flexibility to work alongside all our doctors and cover holiday and sick leave
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Relevant clinical experience in wound care is desirable
- Permanent residents only
- Experience in either dermatology or surgical nursing is preferred
