About the Role

As a Business Development Executive, you will be at the forefront of driving sales, building strategic relationships, and contributing to the growth of our organisation. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a collaborative and supportive team that’s committed to success.

Key Responsibilities

- Secure new business across MICE, Group, Sport, Entertainment and Corporate markets
- Sustain and grow a portfolio of secured accounts through strong communication and organisational skills
- Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to provide market intelligence and competitive insights
- Conduct site inspections and familiarisation (fam) trips in line with property guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying recent business opportunities
- Attend and represent at industry and trade events and tradeshows




- Perform in-depth analysis of the competitive market and provide feedback on findings
- Implement an adaptable sales plan that aligns with business needs and market trends
- Accurately track all sales activities, client contacts and proposals in the sales database

You Will Have

- Previous experience in a similar role; hospitality and tourism industry experience is a bonus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Solid relationship-building skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, goal-oriented attitude with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for market trends and opportunities
