The Position
With a strong focus on team, business development, and customer satisfaction, Tank Stream Design has built a reputation for excellence in our industry. As we continue to grow and expand globally, we are seeking a highly skilled Afternoon Shift Supervisor/After Hours Site Lead to support our light manufacturing fulfilment process.
You will be responsible for leading the afternoon shift, which commences at 2.30pm and comprises approximately 15-20+ staff, in a fast paced configure to order production and fulfillment environment. You will be responsible for executing the daily production plan, managing shift priorities, supporting the team, monitoring output, and ensuring the site operates safely and effectively after business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead from the floor: Manage daily shift priorities, production, packing, workflow, labour allocation, quality and safety.
- Lead the team: Lead, train, coach, and hold the team accountable for safety, quality, efficiency, and daily production performance.
- Optimise production:
Dynamically allocate labour to hit daily output and quality targets.
- Keep the gears turning: Perform basic machine troubleshooting and routine/basic maintenance.
- Own the shift: Serve as the primary after hours site lead and deliver clear shift handovers.
About You / Qualifications:
Experience & Expertise:
Proven experience in a production supervisory role, ideally within manufacturing, fulfilment, printing, textile, or configure-to-order environments.
Warehouse or fulfilment supervisory experience would be highly regarded where combined with strong production flow, people leadership, and operational execution experience.
Experience with DTG printing, UV printing, cutting machines, screen printing or similar production equipment.
Experience using production KPIs, shift reports, downtime logs or workflow boards.
Strong leadership skills to coach, train, and hold a diverse team accountable
Sharp problem-solving skills to manage change order volumes and capacity.
Forklift license, First Aid Certificate, digital/textile printing experience, Portuguese language skills are highly desirable
