A 40+m SY is seeking a relief captain to join for aroundSeptember 22-24th for an 8 week period.

The handover would be in Fiji and the boat will then sail to Marlin marina in Cairns where they have a short but very busy in-water maintenance period. They will have additional crew including contractors flown for this period to assist as well as an engineering project manager on the ground.

They need an experienced captain to keep this work managed effectively within a 4-6 week period, with the aim to hand over in Indonesia.

Seeking an experienced sailor with proven yard experience as captain and valuable experience with ocean crossings. Prior experience sailing in the Pacific will be advantageous.

Qualifications required: Qualifications need to be at minimum an Ocean Yachtmaster, but ideally an MCA Master ticket 200 or greater
