Telecommunication Technical Officer/Technologist

Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position

Job Description

The role:

- Install and upgrade fibre networks & equipment
- Perform trouble shooting, fault finding and repairing of fibre networks
- Installation and splicing of fibre joints
- Cable hauling of fibre cables
- Study and interpretation of network designs
- Ensure WH&S; compliance

Skills and experience:

- Experience working on Telstra & NBN fibre networks
- Experience building and splicing fibre joints
- Valuable experience using an OTDR and fusion splicer
- Current driver's license
- Construction white card

Salary $79,500 + super
