THE ROLE:

We are seeking an Accountant to assist the Principal with top to bottom client related matters.

- Professional accounting experience
- Hold a tertiary qualification in an accounting related discipline or be working toward this qualification.
- Membership of, or currently working towards, CPA/CA would be advantageous.
- Audit exposure is a benefit

The successful applicant will also need to be a highly motivated individual, capable of working autonomously, have excellent interpersonal skills and a solution focused attitude.

- Solid work ethic
- Strong skills using Xero - financial statement preparation & accounting services
- Excel experience highly regarded
- You will be tech savi across a number of platforms including Office & Office 365
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provision of high-quality business advice to clients including system/process improvements
- Establishing and maintaining positive client relationships, including attendance at client meetings
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies
- Tax Return/BAS/IAS preparation and lodgment.
- Assisting audits of large and small companies/entities
- The opportunity exists to grow into this role

REMUNERATION:

An attractive remuneration package is available, to be determined in accordance with experience and qualifications.

Two positions are available and pay ranges are $60,000 to $80,000, and $80,000 to $140,000 depending on experience and qualifications:
