Your role

Join Capgemini Australia and help deliver large-scale SAP transformation programmes for leading organisations across Australia and New Zealand.

As an SAP Technical Consultant, you will:

- Design, build and deliver SAP technical solutions
- Work closely with architects, functional consultants and business stakeholders
- Contribute to SAP BTP, Security or ABAP workstreams
- Support testing, deployment and continuous improvement activities
- Help shape the growth of Capgemini's SAP capability in the region

Your profile

Important: This role is intended for candidates with hands‑on SAP technical development experience. Applications from functional SAP consultants, project managers, PMOs or business analysts without a strong background in SAP development, SAP BTP, SAP Security or SAP ABAP will not be considered. Proven experience designing, developing, customizing and integrating SAP solutions is required.

We're looking for candidates with:

- 3+ years of hands‑on SAP technical experience, including development, customization, integration or security implementation within SAP environments.
- Strong technical expertise in at least one of the following areas:

1. SAP BTP (CAP, Integration Suite, Extension Suite, HANA Cloud, APIs)
2. SAP Security (Authorizations, IAM,



SAP GRC, SAML/OAuth)
3. SAP ABAP (ABAP OO, CDS Views, RAP, OData, Fiori/UI5)

- Experience working on SAP implementation or transformation projects
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work in multicultural environments

Nice to have

- SAP certification in one of the relevant domains, such as SAP BTP, SAP ABAP, SAP Security or SAP S/4HANA.
- Hands‑on S/4HANA project experience.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite, PI/PO, event-driven architectures or data migration tools.
- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud, embedded analytics or BW/4HANA.
- Understanding of identity management, authorization design, audit and compliance considerations.
