We are seeking an experienced, energetic, highly organised and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our start-up team full time. The Video Editor at frntlne will be responsible for the creation and editing of high-quality vertical, social-media style videos for both internal use, and external use for clients, ensuring optimal engagement with all target audiences whilst supporting the business’ financial objectives.

The Video Editor will oversee the video editing process to ensure that all video content meets consistent quality standards and aligns with frntlne’s business vision.

This role will involve managing video project timelines to meet agreed SLAs. Reporting directly to the Head of Production, it will also require proactive communication and reporting to internal stakeholders, such as the Content Producer.

Responsibilities

Create and edit engaging vertical social media style training videos for clients and frntlne.

Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and ensure the final videos meet the desired objectives and quality standards.

Conduct quality control checks at every stage of the video editing process to ensure consistency and high standards.





Develop and maintain video templates and refine editing workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.

Stay up to date with the latest video editing software, techniques, and social media trends to continually improve video content.

Provide feedback and support to other team members involved in the video production process.

Manage video files and assets, ensuring they are organised and easily accessible for future use.

Ensure all video content aligns with frntlne’s brand and business vision.

Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro)

Robust understanding of professional video editing processes

Strong understanding of the social media landscape, algorithms and trends

Proactive work attitude

Strong communicator: written and verbal skills

Commercial and pragmatic mindset

Ability to meet and manage deadlines effectively

Confidence in front of the camera as well as behind it

Marketing experience

Graphic Design experience

Understanding of cinematography and camera operation.

Experience with sound design and audio editing.

Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.

Familiarity with colour grading and correction techniques.

Experience with scriptwriting and storyboarding.

Knowledge of lighting techniques for video production.
