Workforce International are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storeperson to join our team. This is a casual position offering 5 days per week with a view to permanency for the right person. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock, and ensuring efficient stores operations on site. This position is essential to the smooth running of our client's operations by ensuring all tools, materials and consumables are accounted for and stocked as required.

This role would ideally suit someone with demonstrated experience in a stores environment within the industrial manufacturing/civil construction fields. This role could also suit someone with demonstrated experience working in a stores environment within Tier 1 projects.

Please note: This is not a warehousing role

About the role:

$39.11 - $40.97/hour + OT + Super

View to permanent for the right person

6am starts with overtime available

Key responsibilities

Managing tools and equipment being utilised by tradespeople and workers on site

Managing inbound stock and equipment





Recording and accounting for any equipment being issued to workers on site

Checking and recording condition of returned tools and equipment

Ensuring accurate record keeping of tools and equipment issued

Conducting stocktakes of all materials and equipment on site

Ordering of materials and consumables

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience as a storeperson within a building/construction space (or similar)

Current forklift ticket with demonstrated experience

Must have manual car licence

OHS Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Be able to pass a functional assessment which includes a drug and alcohol screen

Robust attention to detail and accuracy in recording inventory and stock movements

Computer literacy and accompanying experience

Excellent organisational and time management skills

A commitment to workplace health and safety practices

Basic numeracy skills for counting, recording and reconciling stock
