About the Role

The Logistics Support Officer provides operational and administrative support to the logistics, customer service and sales team to ensure the productive movement of products throughout Team Medical's national distribution network. This role is responsible for coordinating transport requests, customer service-related enquiries, supporting carrier performance, analysing logistics data, resolving delivery issues, maintaining reporting, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

The Logistics Support Officer works closely with internal departments, warehouse teams, customers, and third-party logistics providers to deliver exceptional service while supporting Team Medical's operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day support to the logistics team by managing transport requests and coordinating freight movements across Australia.
- Liaise with transport providers, couriers and 3PL/4PL partners to coordinate deliveries, collections and resolve service issues.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers regarding order status,



delivery schedules, freight tracking, and logistics-related enquiries.
- Liaise with customers to resolve delivery issues, delays, damages, shortages, and returns in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via phone, email, and internal communication channels.
- Monitor freight movements and proactively investigate delayed or failed deliveries to ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and maintain logistics reports, dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyse freight spend, service performance and transport data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with carrier performance reviews and maintain accurate records of service levels.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of logistics and customer service processes, systems and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate and communicate logistics updates with Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales, Procurement and other internal stakeholders.
- Assist with freight quotations, transport cost analysis and invoice validation where required.
- Maintain accurate logistics documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.




- Support logistics projects, system implementations and operational initiatives as directed.
- Assist with customer escalations relating to transport and delivery enquiries, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Perform other logistics and operational support duties as reasonably required.
- Ensure all customer interactions are handled in accordance with Team Medical's service standards and company values.

Competencies and Experience Required

- Previous experience in logistics, transport, warehouse operations or supply chain support.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Transport Management Systems (TMS) is desirable.
- Understanding of freight operations, transport networks and supply chain processes.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high levels of customer service.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
