Rostering & Admin Coordinator – Part Time ( Immediate Start)

St. Elizabeth Home | Dean Park, Western Sydney

St. Elizabeth Home is a residential aged care facility established by the Hungarian Catholic Community, located in Dean Park on beautifully spacious landscaped grounds. We provide quality accommodation and care services with Christian values for residents, primarily of Hungarian background. Our Home has 102 beds, including a 20-bed secure memory support unit.

We are seeking an experienced, organised and people-focused Rostering Coordinator to join our team on a part-time ( 25 - 30 hours weekly), working 4-5 days per week. This role reports to the People & Culture Manager and supports the smooth coordination of staff rosters, general administration and day-to-day operational support across the Home.

About the role

As the Rostering Coordinator at St. Elizabeth Home, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining staff rosters, coordinating shift coverage, assisting with timesheet and attendance records, attending to telephone enquiries, booking appointments, and assisting with documentation for current residents.

You will work closely with the People & Culture Manager, Director of Nursing,



Care Managers, Registered Nurses, administration team and other staff to support safe staffing levels, smooth daily operations and a positive experience for residents, families, visitors and employees.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare, maintain and update staff rosters across the Home
- Coordinate replacement staff for unplanned absences, leave and vacant shifts
- Ensure roster coverage supports resident care needs and safe staffing levels
- Monitor staff availability, leave requests and shift changes
- Communicate roster updates clearly and professionally to staff and managers
- Assist with timesheet checking, attendance records and payroll preparation as required
- Attend to telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately
- Book appointments and assist with scheduling meetings as required
- Assist with documentation and administration for new residents
- Support admission-related paperwork, filing, scanning, data entry and record management
- Maintain accurate rostering, administration and staff records
- Provide limited administrative support to the People & Culture Manager as directed
- Work collaboratively with clinical, administration and management teams to support smooth daily operations
- Support compliance with relevant employment conditions,



internal policies, privacy and confidentiality requirements

About you

- Previous experience in aged care, health care in rostering, workforce coordination, administration or a similar role
- Sound understanding of shift-based rostering and replacement staffing requirements
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- Confident communication skills and a respectful, professional approach
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, visitors and external providers
- Good computer skills and experience using rostering, payroll, workforce management or administration systems
- Experience with telephone enquiries, appointment booking, filing, data entry and documentation support
- A positive, versatile and team-focused attitude
