Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, you will coordinate the safe and effective execution of maintenance projects and contractor-led works across the site. Working closely with the Maintenance Planners, you will ensure maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with operational requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role and is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys coordinating work, leading contractors and ensuring maintenance is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate planned maintenance activities and site maintenance projects.
- Manage and supervise external contractors performing maintenance works.
- Ensure maintenance is completed safely,
efficiently and in accordance with maintenance plans.
- Monitor project progress to achieve schedule, quality and operational targets.
- Coordinate pre-start meetings, permits, isolations and work completion activities.
- Update maintenance management systems with work orders and project information.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Planner to deliver scheduled maintenance programs.
- Participate in risk assessments, safety interactions and hazard inspections.
- Identify and elevate safety, quality or scheduling issues.
- Provide hands-on maintenance support where required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience coordinating maintenance activities within an industrial or heavy industry environment.
- A strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to oversee maintenance execution.
- Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Coordinator.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
