Electrical Supervisor - Infrastructure Projects

A role for someone who loves being in the field and building things. Run the site, own the plan, and watch real infrastructure come out of the ground - backed by a secured pipeline, not a single project.

About T2 Infrastructure

T2 Infrastructure is a specialist electrical infrastructure contractor delivering complex HV and LV projects across aviation, utilities, main roads and critical infrastructure. As part of the Arcos Group, we combine the agility of a specialist contractor with the systems and backing of a national group. Our work is technical, our clients are demanding, and we hold ourselves to the standard both deserve.

Why This Role Exists

This is a growth hire, not a backfill. We have secured additional project works with a solid pipeline of electrical infrastructure delivery extending well into the future, and we need a capable supervisor to take genuine ownership of how that work gets planned, organised and delivered on the ground.

The Role

This is a project supervisor role in the true sense - more than running a crew for the shift, but not a project manager's desk job. The Project Manager owns the commercial side: the contract, the client relationship and the overall program. You own the site.

That means you are not handed a plan each morning; you build it. You take the project program and turn it into rolling two-to-three-week lookaheads, then organise the crews, subcontractors, plant, materials and access to deliver against them - so that when the site starts each day, the thinking has already been done.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Owning the two-to-three-week planning horizon - developing lookahead programs, sequencing the works and identifying constraints before they become delays
- Organising everything the plan needs: crews, subcontractors, plant, materials, deliveries, permits and site access lined up ahead of time
- Managing site delivery day to day - supervising crews and subcontractors and keeping the works to program,

quality and budgeted hours
- Feeding accurate site information up to the Project Manager - progress against program, emerging issues, delay events and constructability input
- Leading, mentoring and developing team members - building capability in apprentices, tradespeople and leading hands
- Driving quality outcomes: ITPs, hold points, test records and as-built documentation done right the first time
- Setting the tone on safety - leading pre-starts, toolbox talks and SWMS compliance across underground and live-setting works
- Coordinating service locations, permits and authority interfaces for underground works

About You

First and foremost, you love being in the field and building things. The best part of your week is watching works you planned come out of the ground - cable pulled, pits set, circuits energised - and you have no interest in trading your boots for a desk. For you, supervision is a craft to be mastered, not a waiting room for the next title.

You have supervised electrical or civil-electrical works where the forward planning was yours - not handed to you each morning by someone else. You know the difference between running a shift and running a site, because you have done both, and you are at your best when you are organising the weeks ahead rather than reacting to the day.

You also genuinely enjoy the people side of the job. You are outgoing, a natural communicator, and just as comfortable talking sequencing with a project manager as you are coaching an apprentice or sorting an access issue with a client's representative. People want to work on your crew.

- Electrical trade qualification with a current Queensland Electrical Work Licence
- Demonstrated experience supervising electrical infrastructure or civil-electrical construction works at site level - not shift-only supervision under someone else's plan
- Proven ability to plan and organise works two to three weeks ahead - lookaheads, resourcing, procurement of materials and coordination of subcontractors
- Confident leading crews and subcontractors, with a genuine interest in developing others
- Current driver's licence and construction induction (White Card)

Highly regarded:

- Experience delivering underground electrical infrastructure - trenching, conduits, pits, HV/LV cabling, Transformers
- Experience on Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects, including working under road corridor and traffic management requirements
- Energex/Ergon network experience - authorisations, network access, connection and commissioning interfaces
- HV switching, cable jointing or testing exposure
- Familiarity with quality and safety systems on principal-contractor or major-client projects

What We Offer

- A genuine growth role backed by secured works and a solid forward pipeline - real career runway, not project-to-project uncertainty
- Genuine ownership of the site and the forward plan - you shape how the job gets built, not just execute someone else's sequence
- A specialist contractor environment where decisions are made quickly and site voices are heard
- A company that genuinely values career supervisors - we want you to be the best supervisor in the industry, and we will back you to get there
- Career advancement is available across the Arcos Group for those who want it - but this role is a destination in its own right, not a stepping stone
- Competitive salary package including company vehicle, commensurate with experience
