Picker Labourer

Alex Fraser is seeking a Picker Labourer in Nudgee, QLD, for recycling plant work. Early morning shifts, occasional Saturdays, competitive pay, PPE, and training provided.

Alex Fraser Group has an opportunity for a Picker Labourer to join our team based at our Nudgee Recycling Facility, QLD. This role requires that the successful candidate to be available for morning shifts and weekends where required.

Hours are 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 7am to 12 midday Saturdays when required.

Responsibilities

- Work as part of a small team on a concrete recycling plant at Nudgee Stand near a moving conveyor belt picking in a small hut
- Perform routine plant maintenance, including changing rollers and screens, and maintaining general housekeeping standards through manual cleaning and shoveling.
- Actively participate in daily toolboxes.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Physically fit
- Good mechanical skills and quick hands are essential
- Prepared to wear appropriate safety equipment during the shift: hard hat, respirator,



safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and long-sleeved high visibility clothing
- The position requires the ability to set high standards for safety, productivity, and efficiency
- Own reliable transport
- Looking for a long-term role

What we offer

- $28.04 - $31.94 p/hour, pending experience & qualifications + penalty rates + super
