Full Time | 76 Hours per Fortnight

As the Coordinator of one of our vibrant Outside of School Hours Care services, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality education and care that supports children's wellbeing, development and sense of belonging. You will build strong relationships with children, families, schools and your team while ensuring the service operates in accordance with the National Quality Framework and Centacare's commitment to excellence.

As a hands‑on leader, you will work alongside your team, support their development and help shape experiences that children will remember long after they have left our service.

The Moments You Will Create

As the Coordinator you will provide leadership, guidance and support to your team while continuing to work directly with children and families. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of the service, ensuring a safe, engaging and high‑quality environment where children flourish and educators are empowered to deliver their very best.

Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience up to $50.08 per hour

Hours: 76 hours per fortnight

Example Roster

Three days – Split Shift (7:00am–11:00am and 2:30pm–6:00pm)

You Will

- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of educators.
- Create a child‑safe, inclusive and engaging environment where every child belongs.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community.




- Lead the educational program and daily operations of the service.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, relevant legislation and Centacare policies.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Support and develop your team through coaching, guidance and encouragement.
- Work collaboratively with your Assistant Coordinator and educators to deliver outstanding experiences for children.

You Will Bring

- Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent), or be working towards the required qualification.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within an education and care environment.
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and the National Quality Standard.
- Outstanding communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- A passion for developing people and creating positive outcomes for children.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
