Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market and largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines

What You Will Be Doing

As a Longwall Relocation Electrician, you will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient relocation, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of longwall electrical systems and equipment. You will work closely with production and project teams to ensure all work is completed to site standards and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Electrical installation and maintenance of longwall equipment
- Fault finding and troubleshooting on underground mining equipment
- Assist with longwall relocations and commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and statutory requirements
- Complete inspections, maintenance reports, and relevant documentation




- Work collaboratively with project and operational personnel to achieve project outcomes

What You Will Need

- Electrical Trade Qualification (Electrician Certificate)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Current UG Standard 11
- Underground coal mining experience
- Experience working on longwall electrical systems and equipment
