What you'll be doing

- Excavate and prepare trenches for pipe installation
- Lower pipes into prepared trenches and join them together using appropriate techniques
- Backfill and compact the trench once the pipes are in place
- Operate a range of specialist equipment such as excavators, compactors and pipe-laying machinery
- Identify and resolve issues during the installation process
- Carry out site drainage and de-watering procedures, employing storm-water, sub-soil and pumped systems;




- Locate and Clear blockages in below ground systems
- Cut pipes to required lengths
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work completed
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations on site

What we're looking for

- Relevant Trade qualification or at least 3 years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated skills in using a range of pipe-laying equipment and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills
