Emmot Investments is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver - Multi Drop Automotive Sector to join our growing transport and logistics team. This is a full-time position based in Broadmeadow, NSW. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our batteries are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers across the region. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction in the automotive sector.
Key responsibilities
- Execute multi-drop delivery routes in a skilled and timely manner.
- Operate and maintain company vehicles in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
- Load, unload and secure automotive products safely, ensuring damage prevention during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including delivery dockets, proof of delivery and vehicle logbooks
- Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point, representing Century Batteries professionally
- Communicate proactively with staff with any concerns.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns immediately
- Comply with all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Optimise route efficiency to minimise fuel consumption and delivery times whilst maintaining safety standards
What we're looking for
- A valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence, or equivalent, with a clean driving record
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in multi-drop delivery or similar transport roles
- Proven experience delivering in the automotive or manufacturing sectors (desirable but not essential)
- Strong knowledge of vehicle safety checks and maintenance procedures
- Excellent time management. Willingness to jump in help were needed.
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and digital delivery management systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Physical fitness and capability to handle manual loading and unloading of goods
- Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to safety as a top priority
