Hunter Homes is a leading residential construction company renowned for delivering high-quality homes and exceptional customer experiences across the Hunter, Upper Hunter, and Mid North Coast regions. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a skilled, motivated, and reliable Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team.

This is an exciting chance for an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship, values teamwork, and is passionate about contributing to the successful delivery of residential building projects.

Role Location: Hunter Region

As a valued member of our team, your duties include, but are not confined to:

Providing your carpentry skills to the Hunter, Upper Hunter and Mid-North Coast.

Perform all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, fit-outs, and finishing.

Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.

Collaborate with site supervisors, tradespeople, and apprentices to complete projects efficiently.

Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a safe and functional condition.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the experience in the following areas:

Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential construction.

Relevant trade qualifications and certifications.

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.





Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver’s license required.

Technology skills (Emails, SMS, MMS, Web)

Demonstrate a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic demeanor in interactions with clients and the general public.

Exhibit the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team, always adhering to OH&S; standards and Safe Work Practices.

Showcase strong time management skills, including planning, organising, and scheduling tasks as needed.

Display self-motivation, working effectively within designated time limits and deadlines.

Maintain a well-groomed and neat appearance consistently.

Willing to travel, as there will be regular travel between our offices, display homes and building sites. Applicants should be comfortable with frequent driving and hold a current unrestricted driver's licence.

Successful candidates will hold a current NSW Construction Induction White Card & Carpenter License. The ability to follow instructions, keen attention to detail, physical fitness, and enthusiasm are crucial attributes for this manual labour role.
